Rosemary Gosling, Director, External Study Gosling has been involved with the External Study Programme since 1986, and has spent many years advising external students and their lecturers. She regularly visits the colleges and institutions that teach, or who would like to teach, for the External Programme.

A large number of academic and administrative staff from the LSE, colleges of the University of London and other universities work together to create and develop degrees, syllabuses, study materials and examinations for the External Programme, ensuring that they meet the University of London's standards.
